At the heart of the Miravel A is Shimano's asymmetrical CI4+ MGL Rotor. Its exceptionally low inertia allows the rotor to start and stop quickly, giving anglers a more responsive connection to the reel when working techniques that require precise lure manipulation.
Shimano's InfinityDrive further improves performance by reducing friction between the pinion gear and main shaft. The result is lighter, more effortless rotation, particularly when the reel is working under load.
Line management is enhanced by a one-piece bail that provides an uninterrupted path to the line roller. Shimano's Anti-Twist Fin, an elastic polymer fin positioned beneath the line roller, helps maintain line tension and keep line properly seated on the spool for improved line management and casting efficiency.
