The SPRO RkCrawler MD 55 Crankbait was designed by MLF angler Mike McClelland as a mid-depth version of the proven RkCrawler series. Built to maintain the same hunting action and deflection characteristics, the MD 55 features a shallower dive angle that allows it to move through rock and cover more like a squarebill.
This design helps the bait deflect off structure more effectively, triggering reaction strikes from bass holding in shallower zones. Its wide wobbling action and consistent tracking make it ideal for targeting fish positioned between shallow and mid-depth structure.
The RkCrawler MD 55 excels when bass are holding under 7 feet, allowing anglers to cover rock, gravel, and structure efficiently while maintaining strong deflection-based triggering ability.
