Toad Thumper Hydra Swim Jig

The Toad Thumper Hydra Swim Jig is a heavy-duty swim jig designed for fishing thick vegetation, timber, and shallow cover where big bass live. Built as a power-focused jig, it features a stout 30° Gamakatsu hook engineered for strength, penetration, and performance when using braided line.

Its hybrid bullet head and semi-flat keel-weighted belly allow the jig to track straight, cut through vegetation, and maintain a balanced swimming action across a variety of retrieve speeds. This design also enhances skipping ability, making it effective for targeting docks, overhangs, and tight structure.

The Hydra HD is our beefed-up version of the incredible Hydra Swim Jig. Equipped with our super stout, 30 degree custom Gamakatsu Juggernaut hook which is designed to handle the biggest fish and the heaviest of braid and cover!
The Hydra HD has the same hybrid bullet head design and semi-flat, keel-weighted belly as the Hydra which allows it to track through cover while also being very easy to skip. The Hydra HD comes with a hand-tied skirt, high quality fiber weed guard, and a custom bait keeper. This swim jig was truly built for hand-to-hand combat.

Each jig is finished with a hand-tied skirt, a durable weed guard, and a custom bait keeper to secure soft plastic trailers for extended use.
