Mad Katz Dragon Stix Bumping Rod
Description
Description
The Mad Katz Dragon Stix Bump'n Rod is purpose-built for catfish anglers bumping baits through swift current. Designed around an improved aircraft-grade carbon mesh weave, this rod combines strength, sensitivity, and hook-setting power for maintaining control of both small and large weights and baits.
Its fast action helps transmit subtle strikes while providing the responsiveness needed when a fish commits to the bait. The strong, sensitive blank is engineered specifically with braided line in mind, making it well suited for the heavy line and demanding conditions commonly encountered when bumping for catfish.
Mad Katz equips the Dragon Stix Bump'n Rod with its signature plated stainless-steel guides and an Xtrema Lock reel seat for a secure reel connection. A premium AAA cork handle and butt provide a comfortable, traditional feel for long days on the water, while an integrated hook keeper provides convenient storage between presentations.
Built specifically for moving-water catfish applications, the Dragon Stix Bump'n Rod gives serious catfish anglers the sensitivity to feel what's happening on the bottom and the strength needed when a fish loads up the rod.
