The Bill Lewis Float-N-Trap Lipless Crankbait delivers the signature tight-wiggling vibration of the legendary Rat-L-Trap but with a floating design that allows the bait to rise when paused. This unique buoyancy makes it especially effective when fishing over shallow grass, submerged vegetation, and cover where traditional sinking lipless crankbaits would hang up.
During the retrieve, the Float-N-Trap produces the same vibrating action and flash that made the original Rat-L-Trap famous. When the retrieve is paused, the lure floats upward, helping it clear grass and structure while remaining in the strike zone longer.
This ability to vibrate on the retrieve and float over cover makes the Float-N-Trap a highly effective shallow-water search bait when bass are feeding in vegetation or tight to shallow cover.
