Z-Man MudStudZ

Z-Man MudStudZ is a pre-rigged bottom-contact swimbait designed to imitate one of the most important forage species found throughout Southeast and Gulf Coast inshore waters—the mud minnow. Whether they're locally known as killifish, mummichogs, cocahoes, or mud minnows, these hardy baitfish are a staple food source for redfish, seatrout, flounder, snook, and other inshore predators.

Unlike a traditional soft plastic rigged on a jighead, MudStudZ utilizes a low-center-of-gravity design that keeps the bait upright and helps prevent rolling as it moves across the bottom. This allows anglers to crawl, skate, and retrieve it across oysters, shell, rock, sand, and mud while reducing hang-ups in areas where conventional jighead presentations can struggle.

Across softer bottoms, MudStudZ tracks along the substrate and can kick up a visible mud trail, creating another natural cue that can attract nearby predators.
