The Bill Lewis MR-12 Crankbait expands the MR series with a deeper mid-range option designed by Major League Fishing pro Mark Daniels Jr.. Built to reach depths around 12 feet and beyond with lighter fluorocarbon lines, the MR-12 is designed for targeting bass positioned on deeper structure.
Using the same proven body profile as the MR-6, the MR-12 delivers long casting performance thanks to its internal weight transfer system. Its flattened sides and tapered tail create extreme vibration with a tight wiggling action that consistently triggers reaction strikes.
The bait produces a low-pitched knocking sound during the retrieve while maintaining buoyancy that allows it to slowly rise when paused. This helps the MR-12 stay in the strike zone longer and maneuver through deeper brush, rock, and other structure where bass hold.
